Map and Driving Directions

Directions to the CIE Course classroom at the John M. Rampey Center on the USC Upstate campus in Spartanburg, SC.:

From the Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GSP):

1. Get on I-85 North (toward Spartanburg, away from Greenville).
2. Travel about 14 miles and exit off of I-85 at exit 72.
3. At the top of the exit ramp, turn right onto US-176 (also the beginning of I-585).
4. Go approximately one mile and exit at the “East Campus Blvd.” exit.
5. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left onto East Campus Blvd. and go about 0.9 miles until it dead-ends into North Campus Blvd.
6. Turn left onto North Campus Blvd and go about 0.2 miles and turn left onto Hodge Drive.
7. After turning onto Hodge Drive, take an immediate left into the Rampey Center parking lot and park anywhere.

From the Charlotte, NC area (note, the GSP airport in Greenville, SC is MUCH closer to the classroom than the Charlotte Airport):

1. Get on I-85 South (toward South Carolina).
2. Travel into South Carolina on I-85 and exit off of I-85 at exit 72.
3. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left onto US-176 (also the beginning of I-585).
4. Go approximately 1.2 miles and exit at the “East Campus Blvd.” exit.
5. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left onto East Campus Blvd. and go about 0.9 miles until it dead-ends into North Campus Blvd.
6. Turn left onto North Campus Blvd and go about 0.2 miles and turn left onto Hodge Drive.
7. After turning onto Hodge Drive, take an immediate left into the Rampey Center parking lot and park anywhere.

From the Marriott in downtown Spartanburg:

1. Turn right out of the Marriott entrance onto Church Street.
2. Take an immediate right onto E. Daniel Morgan Ave.
3. Go 0.6 miles on E. Daniel Morgan Avenue and then turn left onto N. Pine Street. (N. Pine is also called US-176 and also becomes I-585).
4. Travel for about 3 miles on N. Pine St./US-176/I-585.
5. Exit I-585 at the East Campus Blvd. exit.
6. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto East Campus Blvd.
7. Go approximately 0.7 miles until it dead-ends into North Campus Blvd.
8. Turn left onto North Campus Blvd and go about 0.2 miles and turn left onto Hodge Drive.
9. After turning onto Hodge Drive, take an immediate left into the Rampey Center parking lot and park anywhere.
