This portion of our Web site is a high quality job posting and résumé listing portal to match highly-skilled CIOs with companies that will appreciate them.

Here is how it works:

Companies desiring to find CIOs: Download this job posting questionnaire, fill it out, and email it back to us at: jobpostings@CIOExcellence.com. We will find the best qualified candidates in our job pool that best match your requirements and send you their résumés (minus contact information). You let us know which résumés interest you and we will notify those candidates of your desire to interview them. If they agree to be interviewed by you, we will contact you with their contact information. There will be no charge to you for this service.

CIOs desiring to find jobs: Download this résumé questionnaire, fill it out, and email it back to us at: CIOresumes@CIOExcellence.com. We may contact you to get more details, and then we will add you to our database of CIO candidates. When a company contacts us (see above) looking for a CIO that matches your profile, we will send them your résumé WITHOUT YOUR NAME, COMPANY AND CONTACT INFORMATION (we keep this confidential). If they notify us of their desire to interview you, we will notify you of the company name and get your approval to release your contact information to them. There is no charge to you for this service.

1. QUESTION: So if there is no charge to the company seeking a CIO and there is no charge to the CIO seeking a job, how does the Institute for CIO Excellence benefit from this service?
ANSWER: Several ways. First, our Web site becomes a highly visible portal for CIOs. This is good for our business. Second, we establish a reputation for helping CIOs and develop a relationship with them. This is also very good for our business. Third, some CIOs may wish to strengthen their profile by taking advantage of our training. This is also very good for our business.

2. QUESTION: If I fill out a résumé questionnaire, how confident can I be that my contact information will not fall into the wrong hands?
ANSWER: We guard your confidential information like it was our own social security numbers! Our reputation (and future prosperity) depends on us protecting you and safeguarding your confidential information. We will only release it with your written approval and only to the specific companies that you approve.

3. QUESTION: How can I find out how my résumé compares with other CIO candidate résumés? Some of the questions on that questionnaire are pretty daunting. Is there anyone out there that can answer “excellent” to all those questions?
ANSWER: CIEs can. That’s what makes our CIE training and certification so valuable. When you post your résumé with us, you can call us and ask us to give you our subjective assessment of how you compare with other CIOs in our database. We will give you a general subjective assessment (minus specific names, companies, and contact info) of how you stack up against other CIO candidates.
